Applicability
This privacy statement applies to all privacy-sensitive information or personal data that you provide to us, for example, through a registration form, contact form, or orders you place. We place great importance on the privacy of our customers and therefore exercise the utmost care in handling and protecting personal data. We process data in accordance with the requirements set forth in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Digital Climax is the data controller within the meaning of the GDPR with respect to the processing of your personal data. This means that we alone determine which personal data is processed, for what purpose, and in what manner. We are responsible for ensuring that your personal data is processed properly and carefully in accordance with the GDPR. In this privacy statement, we explain what data we process and for what purposes it is used.

Purpose and Legal Basis for the Processing of Personal Data
By agreeing to this privacy statement, you give your explicit consent, within the meaning of Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, to the processing of your personal data for the purposes listed below. You may withdraw this consent at any time. However, if you do not provide us with certain data or do not allow us to process it, we may not be able to serve you properly.
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Processing Your Payment
- Sending our newsletter and/or promotional flyer
- To be able to call or email you if necessary to provide our services
- To inform you about changes to our services and products
- To give you the option to create an account
- To deliver goods and services to you
We do not retain your personal data for any longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.
Disclosure to Third Parties
We may share your personal data with third parties if this is consistent with the purposes listed above. Disclosure to third parties may be necessary to fulfill the agreement we have entered into with you, to pursue a legitimate interest of ours, or to comply with any legal obligation to which we are subject. Commercial purposes
We may use your personal data for commercial purposes, such as to provide you with further information about our services or relevant products or services from carefully selected organizations. In that case, you will only be contacted at the email address you provided during registration. If you do not wish to receive information about relevant products or services, you can easily opt out by clicking “unsubscribe” in the email you receive.
We also use your personal data for market research and to optimize our services. In this context, your personal data is anonymized and can therefore no longer be traced back to you.
Your information will not be sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes unless you give your express consent.

Digital Climax uses this service to generate reports on how the website is used and to measure its quality and effectiveness. We use Google Analytics in the manner prescribed by the Dutch Data Protection Authority in order to qualify for the exception under the Cookie Act, which means we do not need your prior consent to use Google Analytics.
View, correct, or delete
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw any consent you may have given for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data. You have the right to data portability if we hold digital personal data that we process either with your consent or to fulfill a contract we have entered into with you.
This means that you can submit a request to us to send the digital personal data we hold about you in a machine-readable file to you or to another organization of your choice.
You may send a request to access, correct, or delete your personal data, a request for data portability, a request to withdraw your consent, or an objection to the processing of your personal data to hallo@digital-climax.be.
To ensure that the request for access was made by you, we ask that you include a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, please black out your passport photo, the MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), your passport number, and your Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than four weeks.
We would also like to inform you that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
